Choosing Eco-Friendly Materials Wisely

I’m increasingly focused on integrating sustainable materials into my projects, but I find it challenging to evaluate their long-term lifecycle impacts. Has anyone used specific tools or methods that helped assess sustainability more effectively? I believe a thorough lifecycle assessment can make a real difference in our designs.

I totally get where you’re coming from — evaluating the lifecycle impacts can be a real headache. I’ve had some luck using the Athena Impact Estimator to assess sustainability on a few projects, and it definitely helped clarify some of the longer-term effects. Do you think you’d find it useful, or are there specific materials you’re focused on?
